Lisa

She's our born-and-bred Central Cali girl! After 10 years as a professional photographer, her seasoned approach is nothing short of contagiously joyful and easy to be around. In her spare time Lisa freelances for local news site and was most recently featured on The Huffington Post: "Best Wedding Photos of 2017"

What is your area of perfect happiness?

I love being a mom and being outside with nature. A home out in the country with my husband and kids, with lots of space for goats would be my ideal happiness bubble, that and maybe a miniature donkey. 

In what historical period would you most like to have lived?

The 1920's! I find the women of the 20's to be glamorous, the make-up the style! I had quite the collection of vintage items from that period. I also love swing dancing and I even competed when I was younger! 

With what fictional character do you most identify?

I love the show "Bob's Burger's" and I definitely identify with Louise. She has this sassy, sarcastic, take no prisoners attitude speaks to me but she also has a softer side that comes out once in awhile. 

Where do you feel most inspired? 

Pinterest actually really helps inspire every once and while. I love looking at the newer trends in weddings, helps me to know what to expect and to draw inspiration for the latest things and also the beach! No matter the kind of day I'm having, a trip to the beach at sunset always leaves me calm and centered afterwards.

What if I told you that you could travel anywhere right now?

what is your favorite wedding memory so far?

Fiji! I've always heard about how amazing it is and I just love beachy warm, tropical places. It's a little isolated but think of the photo opportunities! 

I shot a destination wedding in Greece for this amazing couple. At one point during the portraits, I was able to get the wedding couple to wade into the Aegean sea in their wedding dresses for photos at sunset. It was priceless. We traveled with the couple and their friends for 10 days and took photos of everything! It was an experience that I won't soon forget.
